Jammu and Kashmir has made significant progress in digitising land and revenue records, with 7.29 crore revenue documents scanned and 99.4 percent of Jamabandi records digitised across 6,844 villages, according to the latest government figures.
The data also highlights an expansion of digital governance and welfare delivery, with a growing number of public services being brought online and wider coverage reported under food security and social-assistance schemes.
Under the IT reforms programme, e-Office has been implemented at the Secretariat, offices of Heads of Departments and district levels, while e-Office 2.0 is being rolled out at tehsil and block levels.
According to the figures, more than 45,953 users across 430 organisations have been onboarded, while 1,710 services are currently available online. Over 70 lakh digital documents have also been delivered through the system.
Around 114 services under the Public Services Guarantee Act (PSGA) have been integrated with auto-appeal provisions.
The DigiLocker ecosystem has 188 services and 35.50 lakh registered users, while around five lakh digital transactions are being recorded daily through 942 Common Service Centre (CSC) touchpoints.
The 3K Samadhan App is receiving around 300 grievances daily, with a reported disposal rate of 94 percent. More than 40 IT initiatives have also been undertaken in collaboration with BISAG-N.
In the land-record digitisation drive, map digitisation has reached 94.23 percent, with 6,544 of the 6,850 identified sheets digitised.
A total of 6,455 villages, or 93.4 percent, have been mapped, of which 5,700 have undergone ground-truthing. Sub-parcelisation has been completed in 1,925 villages across 20 districts.
The government has also brought 881 revenue courts online through the Revenue Court Case Management System (RCCMS). Drone surveys have been undertaken in 4,368 villages, of which 3,091 have been verified.
Under the SVAMITVA scheme, 58,265 property cards have been distributed across 1,491 villages.
On the social-inclusion front, 25.69 lakh families, covering 103.88 lakh beneficiaries, have been enrolled under the National Food Security Act (NFSA).
Meanwhile, 16.61 lakh households, representing 67.84 lakh beneficiaries, are receiving free ration under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY).
The figures underline the administration’s ongoing push towards technology-driven governance, particularly in land administration and delivery of essential public services.
