ST PETERSBURG, SEPT 19: Chief of Army Staff General Dhiraj Seth, during his official visit to Russia, visited the Mikhailovskaya Military Artillery Academy in St Petersburg and held interactions with the faculty on training methodologies and the modernisation of artillery.

During the visit, General Seth was accorded the unique honour of firing the traditional cannon at the historic Peter and Paul Fortress, marking a significant ceremonial moment of the engagement.

The visit provided an opportunity to exchange views on contemporary artillery training, modernisation initiatives and professional military practices. Discussions with the academy’s faculty focused on institutional exchanges and sharing of best practices in military education and training.
