ANANTNAG, SEPT 19: Anantnag Police has organised a cricket tournament in memory of Martyr DySP Humayun Muzammil, at the Sports Stadium, Anantnag, with 32 teams from across the district taking part in the sporting event.
The tournament is aimed at providing young cricketers a platform to showcase their talent while promoting teamwork, discipline and healthy competition.
The event also commemorates the sacrifice and service of DySP Humayun Muzammil, whose legacy of courage and dedication continues to inspire.
Police said the initiative is part of its efforts to engage youth through sports and strengthen community outreach and police-public relations.
The participating players and teams were encouraged to maintain the highest standards of sportsmanship and fair play during the tournament.
