GANDERBAL, SEPT 22: The Grand Knockout T20 Police Cricket Tournament continued to witness competitive cricket and standout individual performances, with five teams emerging victorious in the latest round of matches.
Valley Stars Kangan defeated Legends Harran by six wickets, with Sahil Fayaz producing an all-round performance. He remained unbeaten on 56 off 39 balls and also claimed two wickets to earn the Player of the Match award.
Libra Saloora secured a 15-run victory, with Mohd Arif delivering a match-winning performance to claim the Player of the Match honour.
Kachan Stars registered a convincing 35-run win, with Hilal Rashid adjudged Player of the Match for his impressive contribution.
In a closely fought encounter, Royal Warriors Gamwara edged past their opponents by two wickets. Anyat Rasool starred with the bat and ball, scoring 47 runs off 33 deliveries and taking two wickets to be named Player of the Match.
11 Friends Kangan recorded the biggest win of the round, defeating Chattergul Aryans by 88 runs. Abrar Lone led the charge with a blistering 85 off just 43 balls and was declared Player of the Match.
The tournament, being organised with the objective of promoting sports, youth participation and positive engagement, continues to draw enthusiastic participation from teams and cricket lovers across the district.
