ANANTNAG, OCT 5: Reinforcing its focus on operational preparedness, discipline and professional efficiency, the weekly Monday Parade was conducted across all police establishments of District Anantnag on Monday as part of the routine mechanism to assess the readiness and functioning of police personnel.
The parade was held under the supervision of the respective supervisory officers and involved a detailed inspection of personnel, uniform and turnout, arms, ammunition and other operational equipment. Personnel were also briefed on their professional responsibilities, alertness and preparedness to respond effectively to emerging law-and-order and security situations.
During the proceedings, officers stressed the importance of maintaining strict discipline, physical fitness, alertness, weapon readiness and adherence to standard operating procedures. Personnel were directed to remain vigilant while discharging their duties and to ensure a prompt, coordinated and professional response during exigencies.
The exercise also served as a platform for supervisory officers to interact with personnel, reinforce command-and-control mechanisms and assess the preparedness of police establishments for routine as well as challenging operational situations.
The Monday Parade forms an important part of the police force’s internal preparedness and discipline mechanism, ensuring that personnel remain physically fit, properly equipped and operationally ready for deployment whenever required.
Through the regular conduct of such exercises, Anantnag Police reiterated its emphasis on disciplined policing, operational resilience, professional conduct and responsive public service, aimed at maintaining a robust security and law-and-order framework across the district.
