Jammu, Oct 7: Addressing a meeting of women wing of National Conference in Ward No. 34 of Jammu Municipal Corporation in Jammu North Assembly Constituency which was organised by Rajinder Kumar, Sonu Kumar and Romesh Chander, Sadhotra said women folk has to play an vital role in struggle for restoration of statehood. National Conference leader emphasised the need to take demand of statehood at every step to involve women folk in this struggle.
As per a statement issued on Wednesday, he said BJP has betrayed the people of J&K despite its assurance in Parliament and before Supreme Court also. BJP said first they will go for delimitation then election and after that statehood. Why BJP is not fulfilling its promise is not known to common man.
