Srinagar, Oct 14: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has revised school timings across the Kashmir Division, with the new schedule coming into effect from Thursday, October 15.
According to Order No. 410-DSEK of 2026, issued on October 14, all government and recognised private schools across the division will follow the revised timings.
As per the order, schools falling within Srinagar Municipal limits will function from 10 am to 3:30 pm.
Schools outside Srinagar Municipal limits and in other areas of the Kashmir Province will operate from 10:30 am to 4 pm.
The Director of School Education Kashmir has directed all heads of institutions to ensure strict implementation of the revised schedule, warning against any deviation from the prescribed timings.
