SRINAGAR, OCT 16: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has established a grievance-cum-monitoring cell ahead of the forthcoming annual examinations to facilitate the timely resolution of examination-related complaints, queries and concerns raised by stakeholders.

The cell will operate under the direct supervision of the Secretary, JKBOSE, and will register grievances, monitor their disposal and initiate corrective interventions wherever necessary. The initiative is aimed at addressing issues arising during the examination process and ensuring that students and other stakeholders have dedicated channels to seek assistance.

In a parallel measure to safeguard examination integrity, the Board has urged centre superintendents and supervisory staff to ensure that examinations are conducted in a fair, transparent and orderly manner. Examination personnel have been asked to remain vigilant and uphold the established procedures to protect the sanctity of the examination process.

The Board has reiterated that maintaining the integrity and fairness of examinations remains a priority and that necessary measures must be taken to prevent irregularities and ensure proper conduct at examination centres.

JKBOSE has notified dedicated grievance channels for both divisions to facilitate the submission and redressal of examination-related complaints. Stakeholders in the Jammu Division can contact the Board at jsexamsjd.jkbose@jk.gov.in or 0191-2585732, while those in the Kashmir Division can submit their grievances at jsexamskd.jkbose@jk.gov.in or contact 0194-3186762.

Students, parents and other stakeholders can submit examination-related complaints and queries through the respective email addresses or contact numbers for appropriate action.

The move is intended to strengthen examination monitoring, improve grievance redressal and ensure smoother coordination during the annual examination period.
