{"id":654,"date":"2026-09-09T16:48:44","date_gmt":"2026-09-09T16:48:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hawkseyexpress.in\/?p=654"},"modified":"2026-09-09T17:17:49","modified_gmt":"2026-09-09T17:17:49","slug":"domana-police-cracks-two-theft-cases-arrests-two-accused-stolen-property-worth-%e2%82%b917-lakh-recovered","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hawkseyexpress.in\/domana-police-cracks-two-theft-cases-arrests-two-accused-stolen-property-worth-%e2%82%b917-lakh-recovered\/","title":{"rendered":"Domana Police cracks two theft cases, arrests two accused; stolen property worth \u20b917 lakh recovered"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">JAMMU, SEPT 9: Domana Police has achieved a significant breakthrough in two theft cases, arresting two accused persons and recovering stolen gold and silver articles along with cash collectively valued at approximately \u20b917 lakh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The cases were registered under FIR Numbers 180\/2026 and 189\/2026 under Sections 331(4) and 305 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), following theft complaints received on August 20 and September 2, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the investigation, police teams constituted by Police Station Domana used technical surveillance and CCTV footage to identify and apprehend the accused, identified as Shubam Kumar, son of Satish Kumar, resident of Gurha Brahmana, Jammu, and Sahil Kumar, son of Subash Chander, resident of Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following their disclosure and further investigation, police recovered gold and silver articles worth approximately \u20b915 lakh and cash amounting to around \u20b92 lakh, linked to the two theft cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Investigators also found that the accused allegedly used a scooty fitted with a fake registration number plate while carrying out thefts in different areas.
