Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, along with other senior party leaders, accorded a warm welcome to the new entrants who joined the party on Friday, during a special event organised at the party headquarters.
Those who joined the party included prominent political leaders and activists from Banihal.
As per a party statement, among the new entrants was Shahrukh Khan from Banihal, who had been associated with the PDP for nearly a decade and had also served as a spokesperson of the party.
Besides Khan, Syed Adil Chamalwas and Yasir Syed Chamalwas, both former PDP supporters, also joined the Apni Party.
Welcoming the new entrants into the party fold, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari said that their joining would further strengthen the party at the grassroots level in Banihal and across the Chenab Valley.
On the occasion, Apni Party Provincial Secretary Mohammad Ashraf Dar and Farooq Ahmed Khan were also present.
