SAMBA, SEPT 22: Sanoora Volleyball Club emerged as the champion in a Volleyball Tournament organised under the Civic Action Programme (CAP) 2026–27 at Government High School, Jatwal, under the jurisdiction of Police Station Ghagwal.
The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from local youth, sportspersons and community members, with eight teams from across Samba district competing for the title.
A large number of spectators turned up to support the players and witnessed the closely contested matches.
The final was played between Sanoora Volleyball Club and Radyal Volleyball Club, with Sanoora displaying a strong performance to defeat Radyal and lift the championship trophy.
SSP Samba presented trophies to the winning and runner-up teams and appreciated the players for their enthusiasm, discipline and sporting spirit.
He highlighted the role of sports in promoting teamwork, discipline, fitness and constructive engagement among youth.
Additional SP Samba, DySP Headquarters Samba, SHO Police Station Ghagwal and other police officers were present during the concluding ceremony.
The tournament reflected Samba Police’s continued efforts under CAP to engage youth through sports and strengthen police-public interaction.
