JAMMU, SEPT 23: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday announced a fresh set of organisational appointments, naming Satish Poonia as the party’s in-charge for Jammu and Kashmir and Reena Kashyap as co-in-charge for the Union Territory.
For Ladakh, the party appointed Rajkumar Bhatia, a leader from Delhi, as in-charge.
The appointments were approved by BJP national president Nitin Nabin as part of a nationwide organisational reshuffle covering all 28 states and eight Union Territories.
Poonia and Kashyap will oversee the BJP’s organisational affairs in Jammu and Kashmir, while Bhatia has been assigned responsibility for the party’s organisational work in Ladakh.
The latest appointments come as the BJP undertakes a broader restructuring of its organisational setup across the country, with new in-charges and co-in-charges being designated for different states and Union Territories.
