Jamkash Vehicleades (Kashmir) Pvt. Ltd. on Thursday re-launched the Maruti Suzuki Eeco Cargo in Kashmir, positioning the commercial vehicle as an option for small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs.
The launch event was attended by Chief Guest Ajaz Ahmad Bhat, SSP Traffic, along with Chief Operating Officer (COO) Dr Amber Ahmed, A R Bhat, CGM, and senior management of Jamkash Vehicleades.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhat highlighted the potential of the Eeco Cargo to support unemployed youth and aspiring entrepreneurs looking to establish small businesses.
He said the vehicle could help entrepreneurs transport goods and stock conveniently from one location to another, supporting their day-to-day business operations.
Dr Amber Ahmed, while interacting with the media, said the Eeco Cargo was primarily designed for individuals seeking to start a business and create a livelihood through self-employment.
She also highlighted the availability of financial support under the Mission Yuva scheme, saying eligible unemployed youth can avail benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh to support the acquisition of a commercial vehicle and start small businesses.
She said such businesses could include distribution of FMCG products, hosiery, confectionery, books and other goods.
Ahmed said the re-launch of the Eeco Cargo was aimed at providing a practical and efficient mobility solution for small businesses while creating additional opportunities for self-employment across Kashmir.
