GANDERBAL, SEPT 29: Sindh Spikers Barwalla emerged as champions, defeating Mammer Goodwill 2–0 in the final as the Ganderbal Police Volleyball Tournament concluded with a grand finale at Government Higher Secondary School, Gund, under the Civic Action Programme (CAP).
The tournament brought together local volleyball teams and provided young sportspersons a competitive platform to display their skills while promoting discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship and healthy recreation.
The final attracted enthusiastic spectators, sports lovers and local youth, adding to the excitement as Sindh Spikers Barwalla produced a composed performance to secure the championship against Mammer Goodwill.
The concluding ceremony was attended by SDPO Kangan Rajeev Raina, Principal Government Higher Secondary School Gund, SHO Gund and other senior police officers.
The tournament also served as a platform for strengthening engagement between the police and local communities, particularly youth, through sporting activities.
Ganderbal Police congratulated the winning team and appreciated all participating players, teams, organisers and spectators for their enthusiastic involvement and sporting spirit.
