RAJOURI, OCT 21: In a tribute to the supreme sacrifices of police personnel who laid down their lives in the line of duty, District Police Rajouri organised a series of sports events at District Police Lines (DPL), Rajouri, as part of Police Commemoration Week 2026, highlighting the importance of physical fitness, discipline, teamwork and sportsmanship in police service.
Sandeep Wazir, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Rajouri-Poonch Range, formally inaugurated the sporting activities in the presence of Naresh Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police, Rajouri, along with other police officers and participants.
The initiative forms part of the week-long observance dedicated to remembering police martyrs whose courage, commitment and supreme sacrifice continue to inspire the force.
