Apni Party leaders, led by Provincial President Mohammad Ashraf Mir, on Saturday visited the protesting National Health Mission (NHM) workers who are observing a sit-in and hunger strike at a park near the PHC in Bonpora Batamaloo, and expressed solidarity with their demands.

Pertinently, NHM employees have been carrying out protests across Jammu and Kashmir for the past several days in support of their long-pending demands, including pay revision, job security, and retirement benefits.

According to a press release issued here, Apni Party Provincial President Mohammad Ashraf Mir, Women’s Wing President Dilshad Shaheen, Spokesperson Ishrat Bhat, Provincial Youth President Kashmir Jibran Dar, District President Srinagar and Constituency In-charge Central Shalteng Zaffar Habib, as per a party statement, along with other party leaders, visited the protesting NHM employees and expressed their unwavering solidarity with them.
