BARAMULLA, SEPT 19: Baramulla Police intensified traffic enforcement during morning naka checking at Kutta Morh, seizing five vehicles for lack of requisite documents and challaning eight others for various traffic violations.

During the checking, 13 vehicles were proceeded against, including five seized for want of valid documents and eight challaned for violations such as riding without helmets, absence of valid insurance or PUCC documents and driving without a valid licence.

The eight challaned vehicles included those bearing registration numbers JK05Q-5435, JK05F-9847, JK05L-9862, JK05F-1241, JK05F-4323, JK15-4614, JK05D-0772 and JK05M-9202.

The five seized vehicles were JK05C-1995, JK05N-6011, JK05L-5935, JK05D-9094 and JK05E-1847, which were found without the requisite or valid documents.

Police said the enforcement drive is aimed at strengthening road safety, ensuring regulatory compliance and preventing traffic violations.

Baramulla Police advised vehicle owners and drivers to carry all mandatory documents and strictly follow traffic rules, while urging road users to drive responsibly and cooperate with enforcement personnel.
