BARAMULLA, SEPT 11: Tightening the noose around traffic violators, Baramulla Police conducted a district-wide enforcement drive against violations by two-wheeler riders, seizing 52 motorcycles and other two-wheelers during the operation.
The drive was carried out at various locations across the district as part of intensified efforts to enforce traffic regulations, deter unsafe driving practices and improve road safety.
Police said the action was aimed particularly at curbing violations that endanger the lives of riders, passengers and other road users. The seizure of a large number of two-wheelers reflects the continued focus on ensuring compliance with prescribed traffic norms.
Baramulla Police reiterated that strict enforcement will continue against traffic violations and warned motorists against practices that compromise road safety.
The police appealed to all two-wheeler riders to wear helmets, follow traffic rules, avoid reckless driving and operate their vehicles responsibly to help prevent accidents and make roads safer for everyone.
J&K Police also urged citizens to cooperate with enforcement teams and contribute towards creating a more disciplined and safety-conscious traffic environment across the district.
