KHALTSE, SEPT 17: Deputy Commissioner, Sham, Kunzes Angmo, on Thursday chaired a review meeting with the Sheep Husbandry Department, District Sham, at the Conference Hall of the DC Office.

The meeting took a comprehensive review of various activities, schemes and programmes being implemented by the department across the district, including Centrally Sponsored Schemes, UT Schemes, and developmental works being executed under the Special Development Package (SDP) and State Capex.

District Sheep Husbandry Officer, Sham, Dr. Tundup Namgial, gave a detailed PowerPoint presentation highlighting the physical and financial progress achieved under different schemes, programmes and ongoing developmental works.

The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the status of various projects and schemes in detail and discussed issues affecting their effective and timely implementation.

She stressed the importance of close coordination among concerned officials, regular monitoring of progress and timely completion of ongoing works.

She further emphasised that effective implementation of departmental schemes should remain focused on ensuring that the intended benefits reach eligible beneficiaries in a timely manner.

The meeting was attended by District Sheep Husbandry Officer, Sham, Dr. Tundup Namgial; LDO Khaltse, Dr. Padma Yangchen; and Flock Supervisors of the Sheep Husbandry Department, District Sham.
