JAMMU, SEPT 18: The Jammu and Kashmir Finance Department has ordered a major reshuffle of 26 State Tax and Excise Inspectors across the Jammu and Kashmir divisions, with the transfers and postings taking immediate effect.
The orders issued in the interest of administration, have been signed by Shailendra Kumar, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Finance Department.
Of the total 26 officials shifted, 21 are State Tax Inspectors, while five are Excise Inspectors.
The order covers postings in various State Tax circles, enforcement offices, recovery wings and Excise ranges.
In the Jammu Division, State Tax Inspector Harminder Singh Dhir, presently posted in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, State Taxes Enforcement (North), Udhampur, has been posted to Circle-P, Jammu.
Mohd Salim, relieved from the Excise Department and awaiting adjustment, has been posted to Circle-Doda, while Paramveer Singh has been transferred from the State Taxes (Recovery), Jammu office to Circle-Kathua-I.
Gulzar Ahmad, presently in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, State Taxes Enforcement, Kathua, HQ Lakhanpur, has been posted to Circle-Ramban. Shayan Ji Saleem, from Circle-J, Jammu, has been posted to Circle-Rajouri.
The department has also shifted Anurag Sharma from the office of the Deputy Commissioner, State Taxes Enforcement (Central), Jammu, to the State Taxes Enforcement (South), Samba. Neeraj Singh Chib, presently deployed in the Audit Cell under the Assistant Commissioner, State Taxes (A&E), Jammu, has been posted to the office of the Deputy Commissioner, State Taxes Enforcement (Central), Jammu.
Deepak Singh, from State Taxes (Recovery), Jammu, will take charge at Circle-C, Jammu, while Sachin Slathia, presently posted at Circle-P, Jammu, has been transferred to Circle-Kishtwar.
Rajesh Singh, from Circle-Samba-I, has been posted to Circle-Kathua-I, while Anish Mahajan, who was relieved from the Excise Department and awaiting adjustment, has been posted to Circle-G, Jammu.
Further, Rachit Sharma has been shifted from Circle-F to Circle-H, Jammu; Sanjeev Kumar Sakolia, from the office of the Deputy Commissioner, State Taxes (Appeals-II), Jammu, has been posted to Circle-Kathua-II; and Sahil Choudhary, presently with the State Taxes Enforcement (Central), Jammu, has been posted to Circle-Poonch.
Ch. Talib Hussain, presently in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Stamps, Jammu, has been posted to Circle-Reasi, while Avinash Dogra, from State Taxes (Recovery), Jammu, has been transferred to Circle-Kathua-II.
The order further states that Sandeep Kumar Rana shall continue in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, State Taxes Enforcement (South), Samba. Abhishek Abrol, relieved from the Excise Department and awaiting adjustment, has been posted to the office of the Deputy Commissioner, State Taxes Enforcement (North), Udhampur.
Ekta, presently posted at Circle-C, Jammu, has been transferred to the State Taxes Check Post at Railway Station, Jammu (Goods Side).
In the Kashmir Division, Sajad Hussain Baldave, presently posted in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, State Taxes (Recovery), Kashmir, has been transferred to Circle-Budgam, while Malik Vikarul Hassan, relieved from the Excise Department and awaiting adjustment, has been posted to Circle-I, Kashmir.
The Finance Department has also ordered transfers among Excise Inspectors.
In Jammu Division, Vishal, Neel Raj Gupta and Deepak Sharma, all awaiting orders of adjustment, have been posted to the offices of the Deputy Excise Commissioner (Accounts), Jammu; Excise Commissioner, J&K; and Deputy Excise Commissioner (Distilleries), Jammu, respectively.
In Kashmir Division, Afshan and Mobashar Altaf, presently posted in the Excise Range APSK (Sub-Range Pulwama-Shopian), have been shifted to the Srinagar-Budgam-Ganderbal Excise Range. Mobashar Altaf will serve specifically in the Ganderbal sub-range.
The Government order makes it clear that all the officials shall be deemed to have been relieved from their present places of posting with immediate effect.
