HANDWARA, OCT 27: Handwara Police organised a cricket match between Government Medical College (GMC) Handwara and District Police Lines (DPL) to honour the supreme sacrifices of martyrs and promote sportsmanship, teamwork and camaraderie among participants.
The match witnessed enthusiastic participation, with both teams displaying competitive spirit, discipline and commendable sportsmanship. DPL emerged victorious, defeating GMC Handwara to clinch the title.
The sporting event served as a tribute to the brave martyrs who laid down their lives in the line of duty, highlighting the importance of remembering their sacrifices and keeping their legacy alive through community-oriented initiatives.
