The International Authority of Body Building, Powerlifting, Fitness and Arm-wrestling (IABPFA) organised the North India Deadlift Championship 2026 at the Sher-i-Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex here, bringing together powerlifters from across the India for a high-intensity display of strength, technique and competitive spirit.
The championship, as per a statement issued on Wednesday, witnessed participation from athletes representing different parts of North India, with lifters competing in various weight categories and battling to register their names among the strongest dead-lifters at the regional level.
