Ladakh Police launches ‘Jullay 2.0’ tourist information facility at Leh Airport

LEH, SEPT 16: In a bid to make travel safer and more convenient for tourists, Ladakh Police has installed ‘Jullay 2.0’ information posters equipped with scan codes at both the arrival and departure terminals of Kushok Bakula Rinpoche Airport, Leh.

The initiative is aimed at providing tourists and members of the public with quick access to essential information while entering or leaving the Union Territory of Ladakh.

The scan code displayed on the posters allows travellers to download the Jullay 2.0 App, which provides information on essential services and facilities, including police station contact numbers, medical facilities at PHCs and tourist information.

The app also provides details about local markets, festivals, weather and other information considered useful for visitors to ensure a safe and hassle-free stay in the region.

Ladakh Police said the initiative is part of its efforts to strengthen tourist safety, security and convenience and urged visitors and the general public to make use of the digital facility for easy access to important information during their stay.
