JAMMU, SEPT 20: Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir Manoj Sinha has expressed deep grief over the untimely demise of senior journalist Payal Mehta, 46, Assistant Editor with CNN-News18.
Remembering her contribution to journalism, the LG said Mehta was known for her deep ground-level reporting and immense kindness, leaving behind a lasting legacy in the field of journalism.
“My thoughts and prayers are with her family and colleagues. Om Shanti,” LG Sinha said.

Payal Mehta had extensively covered national politics and BJP-NDA affairs and was widely known for her field-based reporting and journalistic commitment.
