Srinagar, Sep 11: Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Friday attended the interaction with Iranian President in New Delhi.
A statement of the Mirwaiz issued here said that on the invitation of the Iranian ambassador to India, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq left for New Delhi on Friday to participate in an interaction with the President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, who was in the capital to attend the BRICS Summit.
The interaction of religious leaders, intellectuals, and other dignitaries, hosted by the Ambassador of the Iran to India, Mohammad Fathali, took place in New Delhi late Friday that was followed by a dinner reception.
