SRINAGAR, SEPT 23: The Rashtriya Bajrang Dal on Wednesday observed the birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji at Lal Chowk in Srinagar, paying tributes to the last ruling Maharaja of Jammu and Kashmir and recalling his contribution to the region’s history and public life.
The programme was organised with enthusiasm and respect, with members and supporters of the organisation gathering at Lal Chowk to commemorate the occasion.
Participants remembered Maharaja Hari Singh for his role in the political and social history of Jammu and Kashmir and highlighted the legacy associated with his rule.
Speakers at the programme recalled the reforms undertaken during Maharaja Hari Singh’s reign, including measures related to education, social welfare and the administration of the erstwhile state.
