SRINAGAR, SEPT 15: Recognising professional excellence in criminal investigation, Srinagar Police felicitated officers and officials for their outstanding performance, meticulous probe work and dedication in handling critical cases.
A felicitation ceremony was held at the District Police Headquarters, Srinagar, where Investigating Officers and their teams were presented Certificates of Appreciation and rewards for conducting timely, professional and evidence-based investigations that helped bring important cases to their logical conclusion.
The ceremony was presided over by SSP Srinagar Dr G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy, IPS, and attended by SP Headquarters Umar Shah, DySP Headquarters Syed Sleet Shah and other senior officers of District Police Srinagar.
Commending the awardees, SSP Srinagar praised their investigative skills, legal acumen, technical proficiency and professional integrity, particularly while dealing with complex and challenging cases.
He stressed that meticulous, evidence-based and legally sound investigation remains the backbone of the criminal justice system, adding that professional investigations not only ensure that offenders are brought to justice but also strengthen public confidence in policing.
