JAMMU, SEPT 15: Northern Command is accelerating its efforts towards digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI) adoption to strengthen operational effectiveness and prepare the Indian Army for the evolving security environment.

Lt Gen Harsh Chhibber, AVSM, VSM, PhD, Director General of Information Systems, addressed Northern Command on “Digital Transformation and AI Applications”, highlighting the growing importance of technology-driven capabilities in modern military operations.

The deliberations focused on a range of initiatives aimed at building an AI-enabled ecosystem for a future-ready Indian Army and ensuring its seamless adaptation across formations of Northern Command.
