SHAM, SEPT 16: A crime and security review meeting was held at District Police Headquarters, Sham, under the chairmanship of SSP Sham to assess the overall crime situation and review policing and security measures across the district.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on ongoing investigations, expediting disposal of pending cases, crime prevention and maintenance of law and order.
The SSP directed officers to ensure timely, professional and merit-based investigation of cases and exercise effective supervision over ongoing probes.
The SSP stressed the need for professional policing, stronger coordination among police units and prompt response to public grievances, while calling for proactive measures to prevent crime and address emerging security challenges.
At the conclusion of the meeting, all concerned officers were directed to remain vigilant and ensure effective implementation of policing measures aimed at safeguarding the safety and security of the general public.
