SRINAGAR, SEPT 16: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has issued the date sheets for the Annual Regular 2026 examinations of Classes 10th, 11th and 12th across Kashmir Division, winter-zone areas of Jammu Division and the Union Territory of Ladakh, with all theory papers scheduled to begin at 11:00 AM.
As per the schedule, Class 10 examinations will commence on October 19 with Mathematics and continue till November 18.
The papers will cover major subjects including Urdu/Hindi, Science, English and Social Science, besides Music, vocational and additional/optional subjects, Home Science, Painting/Art & Drawing and Computer Science.
For Class 11, the examinations will begin on October 29 and conclude on November 30.
The opening schedule includes Biology, Botany, Zoology and Statistics for Science students, Political Science and Statistics for Arts students, and Accountancy for Commerce students.
The Class 12 examinations will start on October 21 with Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, followed by Geography and other subject papers, with the examination process scheduled to conclude on November 21.
JKBOSE has clarified that the dates for practical examinations will be notified separately by the respective Joint Secretaries.
For Class 10 vocational subjects, dates for external practical examinations will also be issued separately.
The Board has advised all candidates to carefully follow the instructions printed on their admit cards and carry the admit cards on every examination day for identification and verification.
