SHOPIAN, SEPT 16: The SDRF Component Shopian conducted a one-day awareness programme at Brilliant Minds Innovative School, Reban, Shopian, to equip students and staff with essential emergency response skills.
Around 200 students and staff members participated in the programme, during which SDRF personnel imparted practical knowledge on responding to medical emergencies and disaster situations.
The session covered key emergency response techniques, including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Casualty Search and Rescue (CSSR), and Medical First Responder (MFR) skills.
Practical demonstrations were also conducted to familiarise participants with appropriate response procedures during emergencies.
The programme aimed at strengthening disaster preparedness and promoting a culture of safety and timely response among students and school staff.
