SURANKOTE, SEPT 17: Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, Army Commander, Northern Command, visited the Surankote Sector to review the prevailing security situation and ongoing counter-terrorism operations
During the visit, the Army Commander was briefed on ongoing operations, including focused efforts to target terrorists, the joint intelligence framework and enhanced synergy with sister agencies.
Lt Gen Sharma also interacted with troops deployed in the sector and boosted their morale.
He commended them for maintaining high standards of professionalism while conducting operations in challenging terrain and adverse weather conditions.
The visit underscored the Army’s continued focus on operational preparedness, intelligence-based counter-terrorism efforts and coordinated security operations in the region.
