BARAMULLA, SEPT 17: Boniyar Police intensified traffic enforcement at Main Market, conducting a day-long naka and taking action against motorists found violating traffic rules.
During the checking, four vehicles were seized while four others were challaned for offences including driving without seat belts, overloading of passengers and riding without helmets.
The seized vehicles included Maruti JK09B-8274, Xylo JK05D-2549, Scooty JK04K-8359 and Scooty JK05E-4131.
The vehicles challaned were JK05D-2431A, JK05M-7173, JK05K-7856 and JK05H-9993.
Police said the enforcement action was aimed at strengthening road discipline, ensuring compliance with traffic regulations and preventing accidents.
Police reiterated that such checks will continue and advised vehicle owners and drivers to strictly follow traffic rules and avoid practices that endanger other road users.
