HANDWARA, SEPT 17: Intensifying its traffic enforcement drive, Handwara Police seized 20 vehicles, including 19 motorcycles and one other vehicle, while 21 more vehicles were challaned for violating traffic rules during checking at nakas across the police district.
The enforcement action was carried out at Handwara, Langate, Kralgund, Vilgam, Magam, Chogul, Zachaldara and Qalamabad, where police teams conducted intensive checking to ensure compliance with traffic regulations.
Police said the drive is aimed at curbing traffic violations, promoting disciplined driving and enhancing the safety of motorists, pedestrians and other road users.
