The initiative seeks to combine fitness and adventure with an environmental message, drawing attention to the ecological importance of Wular Lake, one of Asia’s major freshwater lakes.

Through the ultra run, the BSF aims to encourage greater awareness about preserving the lake’s fragile ecosystem while providing a platform for youth to engage in sports and outdoor activities.

The event is also expected to contribute to promoting adventure tourism and the natural beauty of Kashmir, showcasing Wular and its surrounding landscape to participants and visitors.

The Wular Ultra Run 3.0, scheduled for October 4, is being positioned as a celebration of fitness, environmental responsibility, youth empowerment and tourism.
