Poonch, Sep 08: A motorcycle rider was killed on the spot after being hit by an unknown vehicle near Kalai in Poonch district, officials said.
The deceased has been identified as Mehmood Ahmed, son of Abdul Latief, a resident of Khanater, Poonch.
According to reports, Ahmed was riding his motorcycle when the unidentified vehicle hit him near Kalai, resulting in his death on the spot.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and started an investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the accident and identify the vehicle involved.
