UDHAMPUR, SEPT 21: Udhampur Police has recovered stolen property worth ₹43.15 lakh in the last three months, cracking multiple theft, ATM fraud and burglary cases through prompt investigation and technical surveillance.
According to police, property worth ₹45.33 lakh had been reported stolen in various cases registered at Police Station Udhampur, of which recoveries amounting to ₹43,15,351 have been effected.
The recovery includes stolen property worth ₹21.10 lakh out of ₹21.35 lakh involved in theft cases, including cattle, wire and motor-vehicle thefts.
In ATM fraud cases, police recovered ₹13.83 lakh against stolen property valued at ₹15.56 lakh, while burglary investigations led to the recovery of ₹10.41 lakh out of ₹10.61 lakh, including gold and silver ornaments.
Police directed investigating teams to maintain sustained surveillance and pursue remaining recoveries, while urging the public to remain vigilant and immediately report suspicious activity or crime incidents to the nearest police station.
