REASI, SEPT 24: Katra Police intensified its crackdown on narcotics, arresting a man and recovering 69.9 grams of ganja during a checking operation at Searli Road
The naka party of Police Station Katra intercepted a suspect during night checking and recovered 23 poly-pouches containing 69.9 grams of ganja from his possession.
The accused has been identified as Rajinder Kumar, son of Sadhu Ram, resident of Ward No. 5, Main Bazar, Katra.
A case FIR Number 301/2026 under Sections 8/20 of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Katra and arrested the accused.
Investigators are now probing the source of the recovered contraband and working to identify other persons allegedly linked to its supply and distribution.
Reasi Police said sustained operations against drug trafficking and substance abuse will continue, with strict legal action against those involved in the illegal trade.
