LEH, SEPT 28: Ahead of the revision of Municipal Electoral Rolls in Ladakh, Chief Electoral Officer Rahul Sharma, IAS, on Monday chaired a meeting-cum-training programme for electoral officials at the Conference Hall of the CEO Office in Leh.
The training brought together Electoral Registration Officers (EROs), Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs) and Booth Level Officers (BLOs) associated with the Municipal Committees of Leh and Kargil, with the focus on ensuring a coordinated and systematic exercise for updating and revising the municipal electoral rolls.
The session was conducted by State Level Master Trainers (SLMTs) Mohd Amin and Chuzin Palmo, who briefed the participating officials on the procedures and responsibilities involved in the electoral roll revision exercise.
The programme aimed to equip field-level electoral machinery with the necessary knowledge and procedural clarity to carry out the revision process effectively across both Leh and Kargil districts.
