NEW DELHI, SEPT 29: Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Indian athlete Pooja on winning the bronze medal in the women’s high jump at the Asian Games 2026, describing the achievement as a proud moment for Indian athletics.
In a message, the Prime Minister highlighted the significance of Pooja’s podium finish, noting that it marks India’s first medal in the women’s high jump at the Asian Games in more than two decades.
“A proud moment for Indian athletics!” PM Modi said while extending his congratulations to Pooja on her bronze-medal performance.
