The engagements are expected to provide an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on contemporary military developments and explore avenues to further enhance defence cooperation.

As part of the visit, General Seth will travel to Saint Petersburg, where he will visit the Mikhailovskaya Military Artillery Academy and interact with its leadership and faculty.

The visit underlines the importance attached by India and Russia to sustained military diplomacy and Army-to-Army engagement, with the interactions aimed at deepening military cooperation and reinforcing the longstanding defence relationship between the two countries.
