SRINAGAR, SEPT 29: The Jammu and Kashmir Police Pariwar on Monday paid solemn tribute to four brave police personnel who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty on this day in different years.
Those remembered included Constable Bashir Ahmed of Anantnag, who attained martyrdom in 1999; SPO Zakir Hussain of Poonch, who laid down his life in 2000; Constable Mohd Ashraf of Sopore, who made the supreme sacrifice in 2004; and SPO Shabir Ahmad of Kulgam, who was martyred in 2007.
The J&K Police Pariwar honoured their courage and devotion to duty, stating that the sacrifices of the martyrs remain etched in the memory of the force and the people.
