LEH, SEPT 25: Additional Deputy Commissioner Leh, Delex Namgyal, JKAS, chaired a meeting at the New VC Hall, DC Office Leh, to review arrangements for the upcoming 5th CEC Polo Cup Tournament, scheduled to be held from October 1 to 4, 2026.
The meeting focused on ensuring coordinated arrangements for the smooth conduct of the tournament, including the opening and closing ceremonies, cultural programmes, publicity, venue management and other logistical requirements.
Detailed arrangements concerning transportation of horses, medical facilities, public address system, commentary and related services were also reviewed during the meeting.
The ADC directed all concerned departments and stakeholders to maintain close coordination and complete the required arrangements well in advance to ensure the successful and smooth conduct of the tournament.
The meeting was attended by the District Youth Services & Sports Officer Leh, CMO Leh, Executive Engineers of Construction, Mechanical and PDD divisions, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Leh, besides other officers and officials.
