LEH, SEPT 12: Students of Government Council Model Middle School, Phey, visited the Balvatika Room at the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Leh, as part of an educational exposure visit aimed at promoting experiential learning, creativity and confidence among young learners.
During the visit, the students actively participated in a range of creative and recreational activities, including drawing, hands-on exercises at the Tinkers Wall and stage performances. The activities provided the students with an opportunity to learn through practical engagement while encouraging creativity, curiosity and problem-solving abilities.
The stage activities proved particularly beneficial in helping students overcome stage fear and build confidence, as they were encouraged to express themselves through performances and public speaking.
Nine accompanying teachers guided and facilitated the students throughout the programme, ensuring their active participation and making the learning experience both engaging and enjoyable.
The educational visit offered students a meaningful blend of creativity, play, practical learning and performance, contributing to their overall development while nurturing confidence, communication skills and a spirit of exploration.
