NEW DELHI, SEPT 23: Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Indian soft tennis player Jay Meena on winning the bronze medal in the men’s individual event at the Asian Games, describing the achievement as a historic milestone for Indian Soft Tennis.
With the medal, Jay Meena has become India’s first-ever Asian Games medallist in Soft Tennis, marking a memorable new chapter for the sport in the country.
PM Modi praised Meena’s achievement and expressed hope that the historic medal would inspire more youngsters to take up Soft Tennis and excel at the international level.
The Prime Minister also extended his best wishes to Meena for his journey ahead, saying the achievement would encourage greater participation and interest in the sport across India.
