PULWAMA, OCT 23: Deputy Commissioner Pulwama Kuldeep Krishan Sidha has issued a stern warning to government officials over alleged misbehaviour with the public, making it clear that discourteous conduct, anger and disrespect towards citizens will not be tolerated in the district administration.
“Any official in my district who treats the public with anger or disrespect should know it is their last day in office,” the Deputy Commissioner said, delivering a strong message on accountability and professional conduct among government employees.
The statement reinforces the administration’s emphasis on citizen-friendly governance, courteous public dealing and greater accountability in the delivery of government services. It signals that officials are expected to discharge their duties with patience, responsibility and respect, particularly while addressing public grievances and dealing with citizens visiting government offices.
The Deputy Commissioner’s warning underscores the principle that public servants are accountable to the people and that every citizen deserves dignified treatment while seeking government assistance.
