REASI, SEPT 11: In a solemn tribute to the brave police personnel who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty, Reasi Police organised a plantation drive at District Police Lines (DPL), Reasi, around the Police Martyrs’ Memorial.
The plantation drive was attended by the Deputy Commissioner Reasi, SSP Reasi, Additional SP Reasi, DySP DAR DPL Reasi and SHO Police Station Reasi, besides other officers and officials of DPL Reasi.
During the drive, saplings were planted in the vicinity of the Police Martyrs’ Memorial, turning the tribute into a lasting symbol of remembrance and service. The initiative reflected Reasi Police’s commitment to preserving the memory and legacy of its martyrs while simultaneously contributing to environmental conservation.
The plantation of saplings around the memorial carried a deeper message of continuity, with the growing trees symbolising the enduring legacy of the personnel who laid down their lives in the service of the nation and society.
The initiative also highlighted the importance of environmental protection and nurturing green spaces for future generations.
Reasi Police reiterated its resolve to honour and remember its martyrs, serve the community with dedication and contribute actively towards environmental conservation, keeping alive the values of sacrifice, duty and service embodied by the fallen personnel.
