BARAMULLA, SEPT 13: The 608th Urs-e-Shareef of Hazrat Syed Janbaz Wali (RA) was conducted peacefully at Khanpora, Baramulla, with comprehensive security arrangements put in place by the police to ensure the safety and smooth movement of devotees.

Security measures remained in force from 5:00 am to 9:30 pm, covering all five daily prayers as well as the venue where the 608-year-old Holy Tabarrukaat of Hazrat Syed Janbaz Wali (RA) were displayed for devotees.

Adequate security deployment comprising male and female police personnel, three CRPF sections and access-control teams was put in place for crowd regulation, access management and continuous monitoring of the venue.

Police personnel also ensured smooth movement of devotees and maintained a secure environment throughout the religious gathering.

Approximately 2,500 devotees visited the venue during the course of the Urs, which concluded peacefully without any untoward incident.
