SAMBA, SEPT 26: Vijaypur Police arrested an absconder, who had been evading arrest for nearly 14 years in connection with a case registered in 2012.
A team of Police Station Vijaypur apprehended Roshan Lal alias Kaku, son of Kartar Chand, resident of Swankha Morh, Vijaypur, in connection with FIR Number 74/2012 registered under Sections 457, 380 and 201 RPC.
The arrest was made pursuant to a warrant issued by the Court of Samba under Section 512 CrPC.

Following his arrest, the accused was produced before the competent court, which remanded him to District Jail.
With the arrest, the long-pending court warrant against the accused has been executed, marking another action by Vijaypur Police against absconders and long-pending cases.
