KUPWARA, SEPT 28: A mock drill was conducted at District Police Lines (DPL) Kupwara under the supervision of the DySP DAR-cum-Deputy Controller, Civil Defence, Kupwara, in collaboration with SDRF Kupwara.
The exercise simulated an encounter-related law-and-order situation involving an insurgency scenario to assess the preparedness of the participating agencies, inter-agency coordination and emergency response capabilities.
The drill provided an opportunity to test the effectiveness of the response mechanism and coordination among different stakeholders during a simulated emergency situation.

The exercise also focused on strengthening operational preparedness and ensuring an effective response to potential law-and-order challenges.
